Euro and CEC weighted efficiencies assume mild European / Californian climate mixes. South African plant rooms often sit above 35 °C in summer, Highveld dust raises DC string losses, and load-shedding islanding adds conversion overhead. Ask for the efficiency curve at your expected DC voltage and ambient — not only the peak % on the brochure.
