What is inverter clipping vs an export limit on SA home solar?

Clipping is the inverter refusing more DC power than it can convert (DC/AC oversizing); an export limit is a settings cap on kW sent to the grid. Both flatten the production curve for different reasons — read the monitoring graph before you blame panels.

DC clipping happens when array watts exceed inverter AC capacity in peak sun. Export limiting throttles AC output so you do not push past a metro setpoint.
